THE SOLDIERS HOME
In the last issue of The Vidette, a breezy sheet published at the Michigan Soldiers Home
by a veteran printer, C. E. Strunk, mention is made of veteran Henry H. Brownell
in the list of appointees, and he has a "sweet" position.
Veteran M. D. S?um, also formerly of Marshall, holds the librarianship of the institution.
As the home has recently been made a state circulating library station he will hereafter be
one of the busy men there.
We shall soon publish the conditions of admission, so that veterans hereabouts may know
what is required to become a member.
It is one of the finest of soldiers homes, and is beautifully situated.
