Our meetings are held at the General George A. Custer, Post #54, American Legion, 1125
Columbia Ave. E, in Battle Creek, MI on the 1st Thursday of even numbered months.
Meetings begin at 7:30 P.M. unless otherwise noted.
The grill is open until 7:30 P.M. so come early and join us for dinner prior to our meeting.
All meetings are open for members and guests.
Membership to the Sons of Union veterans is based on direct relationship to a Civil War
Veteran (or their sibling) for an active membership.
You may also join as an Associate Member (with no relation to a veteran) by just having an
interest in the Civil War and keeping green the memory of our fallen soldiers from all wars.

During June and July, Camp #22 participates as the Color Guard at the Post Band Concert
on Thursday nights, at the Festival Market Square, 25 McCamly St. All concerts
begin at 7:00 P.M. and in case of inclement weather, the concerts are held inside the
Battle Creek Kellogg Arena. Director Brian Bucec leads the band, joined by Emcee
[and Camp #22 Past Camp Commander], Dave Eddy. Please come and bring your friends to this free event.
Seating is festival style on a first-come, first-serve basis. Be sure to bring your lawn chairs for a relaxing evening of music in the park.
